[A nagging feeling that maybe this was turning into a dangerous situation sat in the back of Roxas' mind. Sora wasn't happy. Sora could be potentially harmful.

Roxas is pushing that down as much as he can, wanting to give Sora the benefit of the doubt. This is... this would be fine. Yeah. Maybe. Sora wouldn't do anything. It's hard not to look nervous.]

You're going to keep saying that, aren't you. [He sighed, looking down at the hand curled into his shirt.] And nothing I do or say will ever change your mind?

Because I know the truth. I know you.

[Sora's heart won't tell him anything different. The denial is strong. There could never be anything wrong with Roxas. Ever. His sweet soul, his pretty eyes, the sound of his voice. Everything is wonderful.]

You just have to believe it too.

[He leans forward to catch Roxas' lips in a kiss. It's tender and sweet despite Sora's sudden forcefulness against Roxas' shirt. But his grip is still tight on the fabric.]

You know me?

[How? Just how? The nagging was getting stronger, almost a dull ache now. This was a situation he can't apparently talk his way out of. Sora just seems... passionate? That's a good word. Maybe.

Roxas wants to complain when it's cut off. Lips against his is an unfamiliar sensation. It takes a minute for his brain to catch up enough to scream at him about what's going on.

So... he'll kiss back and see if that calms Sora down. ~~this might be the only kiss he'll ever get so why not~~]

[Roxas is lucky (or maybe not so lucky) that the returned kiss is enough for Sora's grip to loosen on Roxas' shirt. He still holds on but it's not as tightly as he had been before.

While his head is still spinning with the argument that Roxas is wonderful the way that he is his head is also getting cloudy from the feel of lips against his makes him dizzy. He presses for more, tongue peaking to get a swipe of what Roxas' mouth tastes like. Soft, yet gently desperate.]

[So a kiss has calmed this potential tiny beast down. Not that Roxas would ever call Sora that, but he remembers that in the animal kingdom that some of the cutest animals were some of the deadliest. It's calming down his own fear as Sora keeps going.

Until Sora decides to use tongue and Roxas panics. He's not ready for that kind of kiss and he pulls away fast. He puts his hands over his face as his cheeks go scarlet.]

S-Sorry... too much, too fast...

[Sora ends up giggling when Roxas pulls away, a short breathless noise from his lips as he wipes a bit of wetness from his bottom lip.

Roxas is too cute when he blushes. He can barely handle it.

He leans forward again even if he heard Roxas' words. But this time he leans in enough to press a kiss to Roxas' ear, lips brushing the shell of it gently.]

Just a bit more...

[Don't giggle at him! It's embarrassing that he can't handle more. Roxas is more than a little mortified that this is how his first kiss went. Sora is so confident in what he's doing...

The next kiss is the most startling. It makes a breathy yet high pitched noise escape from the blond's lips. Immediately the hands are moved from covering the face to muting any potential sound coming from his mouth. The blush is deep and extends to his ears, though Roxas is sure that it's all over.

He stares at Sora with wide eyes. How much more can he take? And should he act or keep being a passive recipient?]

Sora is purely delighted at the reactions he's getting. Sora's heart flutters like a tornado in his chest. He continues to trail his lips over Roxas' ear and eventually leaves a small nip at Roxas' earlobe.

He finally leans back a little. His fingers tickle over Roxas' chest as he still feels for that thumping heartbeat. He watches Roxas with wide eyes.]

Heh. You should see how nice your face looks right now.

[He could take a picture right now.]

[Roxas has a complaint to make with whoever or whatever created human bodies: Ears should not be sensitive. He shouldn't be making the noises he's making because of a damn ear. It's not fair. And to think there might be worse spots...

There's a slight glare being thrown Sora's way as Roxas fights to get his breathing under control.]

N-No... Don't look at me!

[It's killing him that Sora is staring. End him now please!!!]

[Oh. Sora is definitely thinking about worse spots. He can't help the breathless laugh he lets out when Roxas glares at him and he tugs on the hem of Roxas' shirt.]

Come on, Roxas. Just smile once for me. Please?

[Are they going to not actually work on the project at this rate? Sora, please, you're something else...]

You've seen me smile. And I don't have anything to smile about right now.

[Seriously. Roxas is far from happy. Okay, he is happy, but not in a smiling kind of way. More a "I'm curious to see where this goes" way, which he'll keep to himself as to not encourage Sora. If Sora really wants to play this game with someone who doesn't know how they should feel about him, he'll have to earn that smile.]

[What project? ..................

Roxas' answer is another thing Sora didn't want to hear. What does he mean he doesn't have anything to smile about- Sora just confessed. They just-- kissed and Roxas kissed him back.

Suddenly a strange bubbling anger fills Sora's lungs he clenches his teeth and looks down at his hands and they're shaking again.

... Maybe if he just wrapped his fingers around Roxas' neck and squeezed as hard as he could? Would he smile for Sora then?]

Roxas...

[That was a bad move. Now there's really a sense of danger. Sora wasn't happy and it's showing as clear as day. Roxas swallows hard, hesitating before taking Sora's hands in his own. He gives them a soft squeeze as he thinks of what to say.]

Sora... You're moving too fast, and it's scaring me. I've never done anything with anyone like this. You're cute and you seem really nice and I do want to get to know you, but at a normal pace. No rushing. [He manages a small smile, hoping Sora would look up to see it.] Please?

[Would that work?]

I didn't mind the kiss. It's all that you were doing after that made me pull back. I'm not ready for that.

[Roxas' hands on his somehow makes some of the static in his head calm down. But the anger is still bubbling inside his heart and his fingers squeeze tight on Roxas' hands.

He doesn't understand what Roxas needs a normal pace for. Or what Roxas couldn't be ready for. Sora loves him with his entire heart and soul what else does there have to be?]

... If that's what you want.

[If that's what Roxas wants...]

[Biting back any indication that the squeezing hurt, Roxas nods. He leans forward and rests his forehead against Sora's, closing his eyes, hoping that small thing showed trust.]

It is. I don't want to be scared of you, Sora.

[Right now he's downright terrified.]

If you want me to smile for you, then don't scare me.

[His grip loosens but only enough that his knuckles aren't white. His heart is hurting right now and he's not sure what to do about it. He's so close to panicking.

... The only thing that stops him from panicking is the touch of Roxas' forehead against his. Sora lets out a tiny breath of air and inhales softly. He wants to be close to Roxas. So close that he could just open his chest up and.......]

I do want to see you smile, Roxas... So, I'll try.

[Listening to Sora breathing, Roxas feels some guilt. He thinks for a moment before leaning forward and kissing the other softly.]

Do you want to lay down? I'll lay down with you. [He's not sure if he's a cuddler or not, but if it'll help Sora...]

We can work on the project... Tomorrow. Alright? Just make it a rest day today.

Huh? [The kiss has Sora's heart beating quickly in his chest. Really, all he wants to do is make out a lot and touch a lot right now--- But if... That scared Roxas...

... This is hard. Hard to hold back all of these strong feelings.]

I'm not sure I can hold back if we lay down together.

[At least he's being honest??]

[.... That might be a problem. Roxas chews on his lip as he debates on what to do. If Sora could follow instructions, even if a little unwilling, then...]

As long as clothes don't come off, I don't mind kissing you some more.

[Simple enough of a request. Right?]

And if I don't like something, I'll tell you. Alright?

[A soft pink blush blooms over his cheeks. He smiles sweetly and nods.]

Alright. If Roxas doesn't like something then I'll try not to do it...

[Maybe.]

[That blush and smile are cute and Roxas would love to see more blushing. Then again, is he that desperate for affection he's already thinking future things... Sora doesn't seem bad except these mood swings. Hmm...

He gets up and pulls Sora along.]

I know you'll do your best.

[Sora is at Roxas' beck and call. He's obedient for now, so...

Before they can even reach the bed Sora is coming close to hug Roxas, arms going around his torso to hold him.

Roxas' warmth and his scent...]

[Hugs are doable. Roxas wraps his arms around Sora's neck, not too tight but just enough. Hugging someone who wasn't his brother or a friend is a little strange. They're close enough together where Roxas can smell Sora. The other had a much softer scent than he expected.]

.... kind of smells like sunshine...

[Did he just say that out loud??? Please don't let Sora have heard that.]

[HE HEARD IT]

Like sunshine?

[Sora's fingers are already wandering across Roxas' lower back. Trailing close to the bottom hem of Roxas' tshirt.]

[Roxas shivers and swallows hard at the sensation. Sora....]

Y-You smell like sunshine.

[Even if it's embarrassing to repeat and brings a blush to his cheeks, it's the truth.]
